I understand that some themes are problematic for young or sensitive readers. Please read the following lists of content/triggers to make an informed decision before reading my books.
All of my books contain:
- No swearing
- No on-page sex or open-door scenes—only sweet, non-descriptive kisses on page
- No graphic or gratuitous violence
The Regency Magic Faerie Tale series deals with themes including:
- Magic and spells
- Illegitimate children
- Death of a loved one (prior to the start of the story)/current grief
- Adoption
- Amnesia
- Theft and lying
- Orphans
- Mild, non-descriptive violence (punches, no weapons)
- Brief mentions of alcohol (not imbibed by main characters, or else it’s prior to the start of the story)
The Pirates of the Faren Sea Trilogy deals with themes including:
- Magical objects
- Illegitimate children (one MC is the result of a long-ago sexual assault)
- Death of a loved one (prior to the start of the story)/current grief
- Adoption
- Emotional abuse (prior to the start of the story)
- Mildly descriptive violence using weapons including swords and knives (against people and against fantasy creatures)
The Thunderstone Theft deals with themes including:
- Murder (prior to the start of the story)
- Emotional belittling (to Cinderella character by her stepmother and stepsister)
- Kidnapping
- Threat of death
Jewels and Dragons deals with themes including:
- Magic and spells
- Kidnapping
- Torture and emotional manipulation (mild, not graphic)
Ember and Twine deals with themes including:
- Magic and spells
- Death (not graphic, not on-page)
- Guilt
- Loss of a loved one/grief
- Physical danger (mild)
- Kidnapping
The Haven River Brides trilogy by Christie Williams deals with themes including:
- Death of a loved one/grief
- Physical danger
- Brief mention of threatened sexual abuse (not actual abuse, a threat that was not acted upon)
- Mild violence (not graphic)
- Pregnancy/childbirth
The Brides and Brothers trilogy by Christie Williams deals with themes including:
- Death of a loved one/grief
- Physical danger
- Threatened sexual assault
- Mild violence (not graphic, just punches)
- Adoption of an abandoned baby
- Pregnancy/childbirth
